While “surfing the web” (not a big fan of that slang), I occasionally come across a website or five that makes me stop and wonder why more people don’t know about it. Perhaps they do, perhaps I’m living in the Web 1.0 still but I’ve listed a personal list of my favorite Top 10 Awesome Websites That Sell Cool Products You Probably Have Never Visited But Need To (what a cool freaking title).

Why it’s cool: Low cost toilet paper direct to your door. What else do you need in life? Never leave home again! If it’s anime, comic, cartoon, videogame or a cult movie, chances are good they have an action figure line. Chances are they have it here. Chances are you too find the Comic Book Guy in the Simpsons as perfectly normal.

Why it’s a Bonus: The GreenHead site finds the strangest of the strange on the Internet. It’s always been a must stop for the past couple of years to brainstorm gifts for that person that you’re not quite sure what works better for them…an authentic New York Hot Dog Vendor Cart or a Wine Rack Drink Dispensing Secret Bra Flask. I believe it just links to the cool, strange sites that sell all these mysterious products, so that’s why it got the Bonus mention.

Why it’s Honorable: I take for granted everyone knows the greatest shopping website on Earth. I’m flabbergasted when I get excited and go “w00t!” and no one knows what the hell I’m doing. They think I’m choking on a chicken and not in the way you just imagined you pervert. Woot.com is simply brilliant. One item per day, when it’s gone it’s gone. They have great prices and the items can be refurbished, new or just overstock. You never know. If you don’t have a woot add-in on your Firefox you should really get it. Pretty soon you too can choke on a chicken by shouting “w00t!” during a woot-off.
